Brighter Communities Applications Now Open

Funding is available to Northern Ireland community groups to help them implement innovative and creative projects which will change and improve their local community for the better.

A fund for charitable, sports and community organisations in Northern Ireland for equipment purchases or projects and activities that enhance their offering within their local community is accepting applications.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available through the funding programme.

Applicants must:

• Be a community organisation based in Northern Ireland.
• Not have any political links.
• Use the funds within 6-8 weeks of receiving them.
• Funding will be awarded only to tangible projects and cannot be used for overall running costs or overheads.

Applications may be made at any time and will be considered on a monthly basis
