Meet the Team

Anna is responsible for working with all stakeholders across Strangford, Murlough and Carlingford Marine Protected Areas to protect and conserve our vital marine habitats and species. She will work to promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of these special places, by connecting with our coastal communities and collaborating closely to enhance the marine and coastal environments for future generations!

Amy is responsible for implementing volunteering and outreach actions from the Ring of Gullion AONB, the Strangford and Lecale AONB and the Mourne Gullion Strangford Aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark management plans. Her role aims to work with all stakeholders in these areas enhance the rich built, cultural and natural heritage; as well as increasing opportunities for public enjoyment of the special qualities of the AONB & Geopark.

Therese is responsible for implementing actions from the Ring of Gullion AONB, the Strangford and Lecale AONB and the Mourne Gullion Strangford Aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark management plans. Her role aims to enhance the rich built, cultural and natural heritage in the area as well as increasing opportunities for public enjoyment of the special qualities of the AONB.

Susan’s role is to support the implementation of the AONB Management Plans.

Judith is responsible for implementing actions from the Ring of Gullion AONB, the Strangford and Lecale AONB and the Mourne Gullion Strangford Aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark management plans. Her role aims to enhance the rich built, cultural and natural heritage in the area as well as increasing opportunities for public enjoyment of the special qualities of the AONB.

Darren is part of a team dedicated to the development and management of the UNESCO Global Geopark covering Mourne, Gullion, and Strangford, as well as two AONBs (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty): Ring of Gullion and Strangford & Lecale and three MPA (Marine Protected Area) Strangford Lough, Murlough/Dundrum Bay and Carlingford Lough.
