Welcome to the Delamont Bioblitz! Join us for a fun-filled day of exploring the biodiversity of Delamont Country Park. Get ready to discover and document the various species of plants and animals that call this park home.
Whether you are an amateur or species expert your time spent documenting the biodiversity on the site is really valued.
Times
Friday 27th 6pm – Nocturnal species recording with a bat walk scheduled for 9pm
Saturday 28th 9am -6pm- Families welcome with opportunities for children to get involved and take part in various nature activities.

What is a BioBlitz?
‘Bio’ means ‘life’ and ‘Blitz’ means ‘to do something quickly and intensively’. Together they make ‘BioBlitz’, a collaborative race against the clock to discover as many species of plants, animals and fungi as possible, within a set location, over 24 hours.
There is no charge to attend and participate in this event.
Parking – £5.00 per car
This event is funded by DAERA NIEA through the carrier bag levy.
