HOW TO HELP
Volunteer with us!

Get involved
We are looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer as volunteers for Strangford and Lecale, to help us to deliver a variety of initiatives aimed at conserving and enhancing this outstanding area of natural beauty. Volunteering offers you a chance to make a real and visible difference to the wildlife and landscape; learn new skills, meet like minded people, discover the habitats and heritage of the Strangford and Lecale AONB and Strangford Lough Marine Protected Area, and enjoy the outdoors.
So, whether you have a skill you would like to share, or wish to learn something new, get in touch and we’ll find a place for you or your group. All we ask in return is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We have opportunities for 5 year olds (accompanied by responsible adults) to senior citizens.
If you are interested in joining us please complete the Get Involved Form below or contact the Strangford and Lecale AONB & Geopark Officer on judith.hassard@nmandd.org for further details on becoming a ‘Volunteer for Strangford and Lecale’ and get involved today!
We have a range of opportunities within the Landscape Partnership, for more information have look at the role profiles below.
